    Default Speakers?

    Hey,

Right I am planning on buying some new speakers, but the thing is I am not sure what speakers to get!

I have around £50 to spend, and the connection should be a simple 3.5mm jack since it will be plugging into my Macbook/MP3 player.

    I was looking at:
    http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Z-4...9083362&sr=1-6

I also looked at http://www.amazon.co.uk/Logitech-Mul...083362&sr=1-12 - But I presume this would be pointless since the connection wont be like 5.1

    So yeah, any recommendations?

They do look pretty good, but I have to try and justify the £50 for them

But yeah, they do look like a strong bet for the moment

Can be used in matrix mode which means you only need a standard 3.5mm input for the surround sound. 'tis what i use.

Their in-store price £99.99, so around half price for them online is not bad at all. Also my freind has them on his computer and the sound is awesome. Hope this helped.

Just to tell you. Macbooks have built in Optical audio. So if theres some speakers with optical then also grab a optical lead with a toslink and it will sound even better

I'll just post that I was in the exact same situation as you

I had about £50 and I was looking for a good set of speakers. I got the Z-4s today, absolutely amazing!

    They're £49.99 in Currys btw
