i brought madden 07 to see what its like before buying 09 how can i tackle and win ball when im in defence mode ??? or intercept the ball rep to help

ive not 'brought' this game but there should be some controls in the manual on the inside of the case.

why buy a game if u know nothing about the sport :S

to fumble them you need to hitstick them. easiest to do that is when someones running and spins or jukes and you tackle them then lose controll and drop the ball

for interceptions just play defense smart your cornerbacks will run to the receiver and block them, change to the corner back and press y thats to intercept/swat.

Dive tackle is X, hitstick is the best way forward though. As Ghostface said, using CB's to their max is a good tactic. I also find if you aren't blitzing with your LB's and its a short pass, they are very handy to pick one off.

To intercept you need to cover the WRs with your defence
