Paint and Notepad for images and a clearer view of a piece of code
NVU is terrible and is free.

Notepad++ - Create my documents in that and publish by FTP (Provided by Notepad++)
    Fireworks CS3

    &

The ones I normally use are:

    Dreamweaver
    phpDesigner 2008
    e-texteditor
    Photoshop
    Firebug

Depends on what i'm doing, for large projects, it's either dreamweaver or phpDesigner, for smaller items, it's e-texteditor. Id recommend getting Firebug, also. It's excellent for debugging javascript.
