Default Burning AVI files to a watchable DVD?

    Hey!

I have "legally acquired" some films which are .AVI files - Now I want to burn these to DVD so I can watch them on the TV.

The DVD player can play DivX files I believe

The files are ~1GB and I only have single-layer DVDs - I am using a mac also so the piece of software needs to be compatible with the mac

ConvertX is what I personally use, not too sure if it's compatible with macs though

DVDflick converts it to dvd format and burns it to a dvd with one click, I highly recommend it. Can set chapter points and stuff like tha too.
