The only problem I have with Obama is that he's promising all of this change and good stuff, but theres no way he's never going to be able to do it all AND offer tax breaks, like he says he's going to. Theres no money to pay for most of the stuff he wants to change :S
I'd rather have Obama than McCain, I think, but I just have a hard time believing Obama.
I'm a Hillary Supporter so in some ways I hope McCain will win; as if he wins there is chance that Hillary may replace failure Barrack in the next race..
But, doesn't he want to start pulling of out Iraq in 2009? That will save a shedload of money and help lower taxes. The only problem I have with Obama is that he's promising all of this change and good stuff, but theres no way he's never going to be able to do it all AND offer tax breaks, like he says he's going to. I think he'll be good, give America a chance to have a break from Iraq and national security and all that and help focus on themselves.
If he pulls out of Iraq, the chance of us being invaded and/or attacked again is very high :/ That, and all of our soldiers would have died for nothing. It's true that tax dollars will go to better things if we pull out troops, but if we're attacked again, then we'll have something new to put our tax dollars to ><
you wont be attacked again as Alqaeda are tied up fighting in Afghanistan. To say your troops died for nothing will be completely untrue, Iraq is now a democracy... sure people are fighting, but atleast they've got the right to fight for what they believe in (weak I know). Going from a secure tyranny through reform to being a secure democracy was never going to be easy, but America not being there might help. Those men and women certainly didn't die for nothing.
Your main threat now is Russia again and that can be easily avoided if McCain or Obama can negotiate their way through it properly. There may be another terrorist attack, but no-way will they pull off something on the scale of 9/11.
Skirted around your post, really. Sorry =[
