The fact that he has accepted an offer from Manchester City says that he is not going for sporting reasons. - Caledron

Well it wasn't for sporting reasons. Anyway, although this is a good time for manchester city fans, doesn't it worry you a little bit that you've brokent the British transfer record on a player 24 hours previous saying "I want to join Chelsea"...?

Mancity will be taking lots of media pressure of us, cheers.

He's inconsistent, leightweight and at £34 Million the transfer risk is incrediably high. Our formation doesn't suit him either, and he's the sort of player who requires the ball a lot, something he wouln't have here.

Don't get me wrong, he's a talented player and although I was livid 2 hours ago, i'm content now.

Robinho will be dissapointed not to sign for his first choice club in Chelsea, and to be honest bad luck to him at City.
Complete and utter dribble, you would have been best not making a post at all if you claimed not to be upset as the fact you just ripped into one of the worlds most talented players for not joining your brash snobby club is a sure sign you are upset.

Better watch out for SWP and Robinho on saturday eh

Why does Hughes persist in playing Kompany in midfield?

And for everyone, why does everyone think we are a low ranked team still? I mean, look at all our players, all regular internationals.

    Hart (England U-21)
Zebeleda (Argentina regular) Richards (Should be in England squad) Dunne (Ireland regular) Ball (maybe not but still a fantastic player) Wright-Phillips (Legend) Kompany (Belgium regular) Elano (reserve for Brazil is still excellent) Petrov (Bulgarian regular) Jo (Brazil regular) Robinho (Brazil regular)..

Fantastic team, we do have a chance at top 4 this season.

    Lmao at this mug.
im wondering, when chelsea were bought out by the russian, we, as well as the rest of the footballing world, called the bunch of sellouts, your blue selves, us, and the scouse *******s down the road, critisized them for "selling there soul", "buying sucess", and generally acting like someone had put an infinate cash cheat into football manager, and gone shopping like a dog with two *****.

i'm just wondering how you lot feel about your new found wealth? your probably gonna say something like "its completely different to the chelsea situation", its not, you are forever reminding us reds that you are "the peoples club", the salt of the earth, true mancs club, how do you think this takeover will affect your fanbase? compare chelsea's support 10-15 years ago, to it now, what a bunch of plastic mongs they are.

i understand that united have spent plenty of cash over the past few years, but that was our money, we earned it, it wasnt given to us by some sugar daddy, as much as i hate the scouse, they built an empire in the right away, as did we. this is just the quick route isnt it? dont you feel a bit grubby?

fair play to you's for bringing in robinho, and with the cash you lot are supposed to have, you could well soon be challengers, maybe even end that 32 years we love to remind you about, but i cant help feel you've lost something here.

i expect a load of bitter abuse, but i think thius is a reasonably fair post, with some serious questions in it.

Oh and by the way, i realise my username is a postcode in london, but if you think im a cockney your sadly mistaken.

    Cheers

Like someone said, not meaning to be mean or anything but they earned their money by milking a air disaster 50 years on.

Adam, yes they were. I'll trawl through a 125 page thread to find it if you want.
