searched on google its just stuff for employers im 15 if that matters with criminal records
the main reason why im asking is i got charged for criminal damage or something but then got a letter saying no futher action will be taken wondering if that sticks on my record

Goto your local police department and ask them, and if they can't do it they will direct you to a place where you can. I got mine done in less then 10 minutes, clean as a whistle!!

Best you can do is go down to The Station and ask them. Am sure they'll let you know within the hour if you have one or not.

At 15 you can't get a proper job, so you're not going to have a background check. And yes, you are most likely on a file.
