Avatar problems :(

Hi, I was wondering if you could help me out with my avatar issue. Basically, I'm using a .GIF file as an avatar and I have checked it is within the file size and dimention size limits, however, it is not animating on the forum but it does however animate at both the link I uploaded it from and then when I uploaded it via my computer after that. Here is the link for the avatar itself:

The link you posted doesn't link to an image but if it's the wrong link then I assume what has happened is that it is too big etc so when used as an avatar it is made smaller and therefore doesn't animate or you might not be able to have an animated avatar.

If you get the correct link, I can compare it to what you usergroup should allow you to have as an avatar

hmm, after looking into it myself, the site I was hotlinking it from is also the one I use to make the avatars fit the size limit for my usergroup, given that the site must process a good deal of images it would be unfeasable(sp?) to store them all so the link I used to demo, incidentally the link i used as the actual avatar, must get deleted after X amount of time. What I'll try is saving the image, then uploading it to imageshack or w/e.
