    Default Bit depressed.

This year is my last year of compulsory education, Im doing my GCSEs, first one being in January. I mean it depress me that I have to work this whole year and it's going to go so fast, I'll have no freedom doing coursework, studying, homework. Then majority of my friends are leaving this year for college, i'd like to stay on to 6th form because I know people in England would rather go to college but it's the other way around here. I think Im going to lose contact with majority of my mates, I know I'll keep in contact with the close ones but yeah. I like school though, I dont want to leave but if I dont get the grades I cant go onto 6th form and stay at the school. I dont want to sound bigheaded but I'd like to think of myself as an average or a bit above average student. I know if I put the work in I can do this, but It just gets to my head. I have mock GCSEs in November 24th until December 5th, it seems all of a sudden, help

You will lose contact with your mates, it's only your good mates that you keep in contact with because they'll make the effort to contact you. I'd have some contact with you Paul, oh yes.

You'll be kay, dont worry about it. ^^

Don't worry Paul. I know it all seems a bit sudden, but the actual exams feel a lot more relaxed then people make them out to be. As for mocks, they honestly don't count for anything at the end of the day. As for your mates, you could always try and convince them to stay with you at the 6th Form.

don't worry about it, I left after my GCSEs to work in the family business as ultimately it's what I want to do and I have a huge interest in it, admittedly yes I have lost contact with a few 'mates' but they're really the ones I'd just talk to and get along with and weren't "matey" mates if you get what I'm saying.

I still keep in contact with my close friends (most of them live near me) and other friends I talk to either over the internet, phone, car etc.

i'm the star in the reasonably priced car!

If your so worried about losing contact wit hthem, why dont you make the effort to stay in contact?
    1. Jeremy 1129 up, 295 downA named based on the biblical name Jeremiah. Used as a name for children who are blessed with a large brain and/or penis. Also used as a replacement for "perfect".
We had a child and it had a very large penis so we named it Jeremy.
