This year is my last year of compulsory education, Im doing my GCSEs, first one being in January. I mean it depress me that I have to work this whole year and it's going to go so fast, I'll have no freedom doing coursework, studying, homework. Then majority of my friends are leaving this year for college, i'd like to stay on to 6th form because I know people in England would rather go to college but it's the other way around here. I think Im going to lose contact with majority of my mates, I know I'll keep in contact with the close ones but yeah. I like school though, I dont want to leave but if I dont get the grades I cant go onto 6th form and stay at the school. I dont want to sound bigheaded but I'd like to think of myself as an average or a bit above average student. I know if I put the work in I can do this, but It just gets to my head. I have mock GCSEs in November 24th until December 5th, it seems all of a sudden, help![]()

Don't worry Paul. I know it all seems a bit sudden, but the actual exams feel a lot more relaxed then people make them out to be. As for mocks, they honestly don't count for anything at the end of the day. As for your mates, you could always try and convince them to stay with you at the 6th Form.
