    Default Screenshot program? (Help)

Hey so I've seen some pretty nifty screenshots via mac in some threads which have a nice dropshadow added to them and no background, is there a program that does this?

It's not a program. It's built into the Mac! (Leopard, never tested any before that)

    - To take a shot of your entire screen, press SHIFT + CMD + 3.

    - To take a shot of a specific area, press SHIFT + CMD + 4, This will turn into like a crossfire and you just hold and drag the area you want.

    - CMD + Shift + 4 then place spacebar and click an active application, dock, menu bar etc. This will make the background be white and have a sort of drop shadow on it.
