Seems decent but I'm not sure about the 8GB memory, that's not the actual HD is it? Hello Tom, long time no speak.
That's why we seize the moment, try to freeze it and own it, squeeze it and hold it cause we consider these minutes golden.

The 8GB Memory is RAM and the HDD is 640GB. I already have a 500GB external HDD so thats over 1TB in total. I forgot to mention it's only €499.00 which is £392 roughly.

Would it run pretty fast though? My current laptop has:

    AMD Turion(tm) 64 X2 Mobile
    Technoligy TL-50
    1.60GHZ, 896 MB if RAM

Yes, I know, the RAM is terrible. What's the processor like?

When you get past 2GB, you won't notice the difference in speed if you add more RAM.

But surely a PC with 2GB RAM will only open so many programs (without becoming slow) and the 8GB RAM will be able to open 4 times as much.

Yes, but considering that's like what, 30 programs? With everyday things like browsing the web you won't feel a thing.

Okay cheers Stephen. What about the processor, is it okay or would something else be better?
