By forum i ment this WHOLE forum like in general, the point is there alot more pointless things then "repoting to JaGex" if it was truly pointless wouldn't i get a warning ? or an infraction. Forum games was a point i made that people would stop if it wasn't for posts.

and the listening to, just because u change the song doesnt mean anything your still posting multiple times, In the Rs 1 people weren't jsut saying Fishing, Fishing, Fishing, people said slaying, farming, they changed what they said also... so really closing this what are u working on thread means closeing all the threads like it.

You did not receive a warning as it wasn't that post which was directly targeted and edited by a Mod. There may be more pointless things, and if you had a look around more than 85% of them are dealt with, but it doesn't help if users don't use the report button..
I, for one, would not stop posting in Forum Games if the post count was disabled, and there has been a thread on this before.
About the music thread, in some retrospective, I do agree, but that still isn't the point as to why the Runescape thread was closed, it was because people were constantly posting what they were doing even when it the same thing they were doing 2 hours ago.

never seen you in rs section so you don't really have a say since you prob never posted(i may be wrong), also what are you listening to is the same... its interesting to know what people are working on rs.

I respect what your saying, but yes some posts are pointless but im pretty sure in almost all the "what are" threads theres something pointless posted. All im saying is maybe a warning? or reduce the posts of people who abuse the thread. Yes i know there was lots of spamming happening but the thread is pretty much like the others.

This is exactly what i mean you stopped replying once you knew we were right, if u read the other thread you stopped replying once we made good points to the arguement and once we did you lock it for pointless posting.

I can see your point. Reading that thread, the good come backs came back and no-one replied to them. It's all good replying to a thread, but when new points come across, you can't ignore them. If this thread is anything like the ones in the Forum Games section, then it should be allowed. If not, turn off the post count in the games forum or delete it altogether.

Don't be silly. It depends if the forum had a good use of members. If it did, then it was wrong to remove it, because it served it's point. Besides, if members want to raise their post count, go crazy in the forum games section. There really isn't much change for pointless posting.

I personally left the computer and was locked when i came back. But what exactly would you like to be answred? I gave my opinion in the other thread and i don't see an argument against it. So please enlighten me.

Well I'm not gonna deny that there wasn't spamming within the thread but what about these threads...:

"Post something you have in common with the person above!!!!!!!!!!"
"What did you last listen to?"
"What are you wearing?"
"What are you eating/ drinking right now!?!?!??!?!!?"
"What film did you last watch?"

All those threads serve the same purpose as the one that got closed.

@Heart Break Kid... closing every other section would be Habbox's loss. The Runescape section usually has the most viewers.

Nobody uses the forum games section for fun, or posts what they are eating because they actually think people really do care.
