Well some kind of invite-only beta was released about a month ago.

Yeah, I think that the current BETA testers could invite people.. or Playstation Magazine people one..

It was definitely official. I remember now that if you downloaded the PlayStation Home theme, you were eligible to be selected to join the beta. The day came, and invites were send to random downloaders of the theme via email.

yeh, thats what i heard anyway. known about it for a year now and im still excited about it. You can invite your friends to online games and join in 1 game (so youll always get in the same room) display trophies in cabinets in ur apartments etc. The characters are FULLY customizable. Any skin tone (within reason) hair colour, lip size/colour etc

looks and sounds awesome, its just whether it lives upto its name like LBP

well people have preferences. I think its innovative and theirs nothing out there like it on a console. Its just good that your able to download user content levels, rate it and make your own levels. Not everything is about graphics and what it looks like

Home, the furni is not free. You can use real money, but when PSN cards are out, you can use them. You can upgrade your apartment and have Bravia HD TV's on. Pool Tables. Bowling alleys in your apartment and what not.

I think some people are not getting the gist of Home at all. The BETA was for people who downloaded the Home theme. And maybe people who signed up to that 'Qore' thing. Anyone wanna tell me what Qore is btw?

same. its about being able to chat to friends youve made and to join the games you have. A place to show people your achievements and to catch up with things. Not a place like sims where you make houses, or do missions
