    Default Chainlink Fence (FIG 2#)

Ok, my plan of the Chain Link collection has begun, starting with a fence. It needs to be stretched about 2-3 pixels longer, as you can see yourself on the floor default; and its a simple, nice and quick-to-make alteration.

The chain link looks really flat and uninspired - just like lines across. It still needs shading adding, darker on the right of the links and lighter on the left. Perhaps make the joinging stand out more? Maybe even add barbed wire.

The base doesn't do it for me either, it looks like you've tried to add depth to it, but left it off the top... the shading shouldn't really go along the bottom like you've made it.

That's practically what I was going to say,
Shading on each individual wire - Dark on right - Lighter on left (maybe)
And then shading all the way accross the wires so the lower right would be darker then the top right, But it should slowly change not obviously stand out like this against this.

I have alot of respect for these people an im not being offensive or anything but they are wrong. The alt is basically 2d. The only shading is a couple of lines at the bottom which dont really count as shading. You need to look at some tutorials and get the basics in your head before you attempt doing something detailed like a chain link fence with all little detailed bits like the chain links. You also need to learn isometricness ( basically making it have depth and look 3d ) I dont personally know any tutorials but if you aks for some in the graphics discussion and help im sure theyll give you some good ones.

( dont -rep me, cause i know what people on this forum are like. I gave my honest opinion and how he needs to improve so this post should help him )
