The Attitude Era was an attempt on the WWF's part to capitalise on the success of ECW's hardcore style. There's no reason for them to do it again, and with the WWE's TV shows now rated PG, it won't be happening.

Yeah, I don't like it how WWE appeals to the younger generation now tbh.

Well, they have to, for business. A huge percentage of its fans are kids.

And WWE has only just been rated PG, and of course all the wild things can happen on PPV.

Lol, yeah. I do look forward to WWE a bit nowadays, but the WWF era always had shocks and surprises etc.

That's probably because dirtsheets weren't every other website on the net, so you wouldn't have been spoiled back then. If no one read into it, it would still be unpredictable. The reason why the WWE keeps pulling these swerves lately is because they are trying to defy what the internet wrestling community finds out from the dirtsheet websites.

I don't read spoilers and stuff but I can still pretty much predict what will happen. They need new creative writers. Im certain that most kids who watch WWE would prefer what happened in the attitude era than what happens today.

Too many gimmick matches, not enough solid wrestling.
