tbh, no she isnt. Shes a good singer but its too, abnormal, for the general public and for her to be liked by everyone. When shes not singing high notes or long notes i can barely make out what she sings. More diction and she'll be alright

In my opinion she isn't abnormal, she's unique and I, along with the others who like her, are the general public - arn't we? :] I agree that not everyone will like her.. but erm... I simply loved Alexandra's performance... what a fantastic song, and fantastic choreography. Laura's vocal style has something really interesting... very Duffy-esque (and I love Duffy). Diana, oh Diana! I would love to hear her sing Son of a Preacher Man at some point.

A side note on Rachel: she makes me really uneasy... like something is crawling under my skin. The judges may like her voice, but every note she sings sounds virtually the same to me; like she has picked up someone's vocal register and is sticking to it. Add to that the arrogance... ergh. :eusa_wall

well in the past the general vote of the forum doesn't reflect the public but it may be different. I didn't mean abnormal As such. I meant too different but oh well. Tbh, can u find me a video where she's singing a fast song? As all I've heard are slow songs with elongated notes.
About rachel, she is arragant but it's good in a way because the nerves won't get to her. She needs a song that isn't slow imo.
