They cant legal action stright away against you for using it without a license they would rather email the person responsible's host to remove the forum or ask then to buy a license to carry on using the forum and ask the host to suppend the account untill this is done.

They would go to court over it due to it would cost a heck of a lot more in court and travel fees then it does for the forum so they wouldnt bother. They only usally do this in big cases like they find someone who is giving them out or selling them to other people

The point is though not to do it, i have a phpbb forum which you dont have to pay for, its not as good but not illegal eiter

True they usealy just contact the host and get the peoples sites deleated of the hosting.

totaly agree i am currently saving up for a IPB 2.x owned licence and its not cheap but it is well worth it.

i dont know y habbox dont move to IPB 2.x its way better
