Again, you have the choice to play it. You'd get less people clicking the rick rolls because you'd see the image it sort of shows. It just makes it easier to watch people posting genuine youtube vids, there's no point looking at the downsides, cause they're all minor and not breaking the rules if done.

If we didn't look at the downsides of things the forum would be a far worse place than it is now

The main reason this hasn't been implemented in the past is because it would be abused and it makes the forum look messy and can increase loading times for people. I do however like the idea of a forum with the embedded youtube videos having to be approved beforehand, keeps it off the rest of the forum and makes sure it can't be abused. Also gives the moderators something to do, watching youtube would probably be a more fun part of the job

I just did a one word search for some and found aload of them :/ I dare you to search any 4 letter words meaning genitalia for both genders and you'll get a "confirm birth date" warning :rolleyes: I would post them but 1. I dare not watch any and 2. it's against the rules

What's wrong with just clicking a link anyway? Embedded videos can sometimes have really bad quality anyway so it looks better if you just watch them on the site.

I think it's fine how it is.
A link = no extra loading time if you have a crap computer. Also, the videos in the posts will look bad imo.

Yeah, links are just fine. It doens't take much to just click on the link. I hate it when they are embedded anyway - it looks wierd for some reason
