    No you only need it if you have a real gd overclocked pc.

    I have it but only because it was a reconditioned PC from PC world and they had one knocking about so they stuck it on for next to nothing I really don't know what difference it makes, I haven't overclocked the processor though so I assume I could probably do that without too much hassle.

    @prof: It's just a better cooling system than a fan, completely different, but accomplishes the same task more efficiently.

    I'd say it's a good idea for those who are overclocking quite a lot.

    Overclocking is very simple, you just need to boot into the bios, but before that google around for instructions for your processor, then you usually change a multiplier I believe.
    How could this hapen to meeeeeeeeeeeeeee?lol.
