Default Firework laws in the UK

    Hi
Well tomorrow (thursday) I have some friends around to stay, and we have some fireworks. We was going to go up these hills and let them off, but we found out that you cannot let them off in a public place (which is understandable). I also know you cannot let them off between 11pm and 7am. So, we was thinking of doing it in the garden around 8pm, but does the garden count as a public place? It probably sounds like a stupid question, but I just want to make sure

    Thanks for your help

Yea they go off round here a few times.

I doubt many people care... last year some were done by the road outside a pub... but we only live in a small village so nobody cares really.

I think as long as it's before 11 it's fine as after 11 it's continued as breach of peace (like having music on full blast etc)

We done some on the beach and the coppers came down, asked what fireworks we had, aswell as ID then asked if we could set the loudest ones off when they were around 'cause they likes loud ones.
