    Because 48 is larger than 30. Cheaper, and for the price of a 30" you might as well just buy an HDTV...although you wont get as good of a resolution I suppose..

    You really need to run it at native resolution, if you dont, theres no point in buying the monitors, you wont be impressed at all

    Yeah. There are some reasons for not running at native resolution, such as having a visual impairment, but you would just raise the DPI for that.
