Rachel is better than Austin, she just hasn't got the right songs to sing. Besides, she has far greater potential than Austin does. The only reason you lot are having a fit that he went is probably because you fancy him. Isn't too hard to act like a poser and cry everytime something happens is it?

The show takes into account sympathy from voters, looks, style, charisma and individuality as well as talent, so it isn't a talent show. Rachel is superior to Austin in terms of talent alone though...
