Recently I have traded alot of my hcs and other habbo club rares for birdbaths, aloes and nellys. Why? becuase with the mass amount of new rares that are being released I think we can be pretty sure these are not going to be re-released any time soon. As time passes values should rise and the birdbaths for example definately a popular piece of furni will be in demand. As people leave etc they will be left sitting on accounts unused, due to this and various other reasons they will become more and more rare throughout the hotel (as aloes are now although they are not very popular atm)
I suppose you could call this an investment, my last - buying 30 petals at 1 - 1.5 hcs each definately paid off and i hope this one will also.

True, but we do have to remember that some of these rares may not go up simply because.... well.... no one wants them

yes good idea and i like all the old rares, but still think about the downside, people might not want the old ones and you could loose more credits....

I can see the downside yes, but personally i don't like alot of the new rares. I definitely prefer the birdbaths to the icms but i suppose people have different opinions.

I have noticed that white bb's are in demand lately. They seem very hard to get hold of.

I recently sold my bird baths. I had 2 of each and got 17HC altogether, when the value of them was 13.2
The sports furni is also in demand a lot, things like Scoreboard. Only 11RD? Needs to go up.
