Don't worry, I'm not suicidal. I can now see why people say it ***** up your mind though. I need to watch a comedy anime now, I need some thing opposite of Evangelion! I know just the anime to watch. :8

I loved Evangelion, Asuka is one of my favourite characters. The scene in the film where she takes out all the Eva's to Air For The G String. One of my favourite scenes.

I didn't think they were making a trilogy of live-action films. Is it Rebuild of Evangelion? Those are just 3 anime films.

Asuka really annoyed me in the anime, but she is amazing in the film. That's my favourite scene also, if only the rest of the movie was as good. I kinda got lost and didn't understand what was happening after that scene. Shinji really does go emo. He was alright in the series so I was wondering why everyone hated him. That movie really was what everyone said. A mind ****. I hear the director was in a state of depression while making the series/movie and that he wanted to show his depression through Shinji. Scary.

Rebuild of Evangelion is four films, and they're basically a retelling of the original series with updated animation and effects.

A trilogy of live action movies for Neon Genesis Evangelion have been in plans for a while and the production has just recently actually started to move. They hired a producer a month or two ago, and I believe thy're currently on scripting the first film. No one is sure if it's certainly going to happen though. If it does, I believe it might actually be quite good, since it's more of a homage to the series instead of just being made to make money. Plus a lot of the anime staff are working on it. I'm sure they'll use the End or Evangelion ending to end it as well. I don't know how they will bring that to live action though, the scenes in the film were quite sickening even when animated. I can't begin to imagine what they'd be like in live action.
