Preferibly around £1500-£1900, max of 8 years old and not an engine too large!

Oh, and I want a car that has reasonable insurance prices. :@

i'd recommend a mk2 ph2 clio
they must be going cheap these days, look out for one with fsh + belts done and you're laughing.

I'd reccomend your mum, she's a pretty smooth ride and doesn't cost much either.
