Not just trying to be all patriotic and stuff but the British army is pretty much renowned throughout history for it's superior training and discipline. Of course, attacked at full force by the US we'd lose because of sheer numbers, but there would almost certainly be strongholds that the British would only lose if completely flattened.

That said, the Chinese are probably top here because of a combination of good training and absolutely ridiculous numbers.

We watched a documentary about one of them last year in social studies class, it was one of them that closed. and they said a number of around how many they had, i dont remember the exact number but it was high.

India had 500 soldiers once against like 2000 or more Pakistani soldiers and we beat them. And India has way more soldiers etc than UK. By 2040, India and China are predicted to be the most powerful countries, not USA etc
