It was defo 3 for as long as I can remember. Still, it's not as rare as the rainbow flags. I've literally seen about 5 of them since joining habbo + never come close to owning one

People talking in complete ignorance when they say "It has always been 5 credits", "It has been 5 since I remember..."

It was 3. And has been 3 for a long time, I personally hadn't appreciated that it had become 5, nor do I care.

It was 3 credits when it first came out but they put the price up. It then left the catalogue for a year or so and reappeared in certain updates. From the moment that it reappeared it was 5 credits and has been 5 credits since.

I can strongly remember them being 3 credits, because when I joined in May 04 I only bought 3 credit items because of the 15 credit SMS. I wanted 5 items, not a different amount (it's how I worked back then). Obviously I would buy a mixture, but when I built my first room, I remember going into the catalogue buying 3 credit flags and posters to splash onto the walls, then buying loads of area furniture. It wasn't 5 credits in the first half of 2004 and I don't believe it was 5 credit in the later half too.
