    Is it really worth using? I've noticed a few new things but that's really it.. like mysqli_fetch_fields..

    mysqli_fetch_fields? What the hell are you on about? I've never heard of that, and neither has PHP.net.. and usually if it's in the CVS, then they have the functions documented.

    mysql_fetch_field is a function, but not mysqli_fetch_fields from what I've seen.

    I did a search, and that's not the function that he supplied in his first post. Maybe read next time?

    He said mysqli_fetch_fields, not mysqli_result::fetch_fields.
