Arrow Will the names of your children be affected by people you know?

The other thread kind of made me think of this.

For example, say you know somebody called "Stuart" and he is a horrid person would this put you off calling your children this name?

Or alternatively, if there was someone called "Andy" who was dead nice, would this encourage you to call your child this name?

naming ma daughter gisele (model is named gisele aswell) would give me hopes that the baby would b pretty.but if the baby is propa ugly (which she wont be tho) i wont name her gisele cuz thats just mean.

but yh if i knew ppl who were nice and i liked their names, then there probably would be a change i'd use that name. if the person was a **** however, then i probably wouldnt name ma child that name.

Yep, I'd never call my child Elliott for example, because I know a person called Elliott who's a right... idiot... and I wouldn't want to be reminded of him

Oh yes. If I ever lost someone I loved or saw a person in a book/film that I adored I would name it after them.
If I have a kid when I grow up I want to call it after Bella&edwards kid in breaking dawn which is Renesmee
did you stab edward cullen with a pencil or what?
