Seriously when you're not in the industry don't try and make up facts. Facebook is struggling to get enough funding to support it over the next year, that's why it has management flying to all parts of the globe trying to sweat talk some extremely rich potential investors. Facebook isn't even close to being finicially secure nor could it be sold as no one is willing to purchase it for $8 billion when they will never see that money again.
Once again, when you're not in the industry you don't even see the half of what goes on. Wait till you have a job in social networking and your whole aspects when using social networks will change, it's not a plain sailing as you might think. Most of the major players are still running on investment for the majority of the time. Such as Facebook, Twitter and Digg.
