Default Buying a new iPod Touch [2g]

Ok, well i've decided i want to get a 2g ipod touch, and sell my ipod touch 1g to fund for it.
Its an 8gb, good condition, apart from back which is scratched as expected.
It has 2.2 software, tons of paid apps such as super monkey ball, brain challenge, loads more.
Reckon i could make the money to buy the 2nd gen?
greg 207 up, 103 downSlang term for a man's penis. Must be in lowercase, it is a common noun.

I think the very basics of Business and common sense need to be used here.

The chances of you getting enough money for a 2G from the sale of a 1G are very small, you'd need to find a idiot. Applications would go when you sync elsewhere I'm quite sure.

Tonnes of 1g's nowadays have 2.2 software, and are in perfect condition because they have been kept in a case (mine is like this, for example).

If I were you I'd sell it for about £80-£100 depending on how bad the scratches are on it. Like I said, there's tonnes of 1g's on eBay brand new with the 2.2 software, so whatever happens, you'll definitely need to put money towards a 2g.
Unless, like Jordy said, you can find an idiot who will buy it for £180
