Glad I'm not alone here, iTunes frequently resets it's self everytime I update it, it's fantastic software but I can now put it as my most dreaded computer task, updating itunes. I haven't done it successfully for about 4 months, I've eventually done it but this has usually involve various resets and once it deleted my Firefox settings![]()
Well, you know, I can't wait to get a Mac Pro, upgrade it all the time and bootcamp into Windows to play all them awesome games. x
I know, I never get any kernel panics on my Mac, awesome isn't it!!!!
i know... i remember him even admitting OS X was awesome.
Sorry but when I use my Grandmas windows laptop or my XP on VMWare fusions, everytime i load it is doing the stupid countdown to restart. There have been times when ive lost files cos ive gone down for my tea and the stupid ******* thing has counted down to a restart. There's updates every few days for Windows, i get one about once every two months for my Mac? After having my Mac a year no update has killed it.Yeah my old Mac was just always pissing me off, it had annoying updates every so often which killed my Mac and I had no idea what was happening. It was the absolute bane of my life and I despise the hardware and software, since I began using PCs I was totally converted immediately, I got hooked up with a reliable AV and got into gaming, I'd never go back and frankly it's saved me a load of money as well, I can upgrade virtually any piece of my computer I want.
Urm, look things up before making silly asumptions, Kernel Panics make log files for us to see with much more information than a white error code. http://www.thexlab.com/faqs/kernelpanics.html
Never got a kernel panic on my mac
Never had your problem that you are having with the DVD player, you were probably playing a different region DVD disc to this country. Also, I showed yout his about a year ago when I first got my Mac, it doesn't take a genius babe :rolleyes: xxxxWindows always. We tried running the James Bond night at our school with a mac and it just drove everybody up the wall! For a start it couldn't play a dvd without a whole region code being set up by an administrator and the idea for one mouse button is very annoying having to use the ctrl button all the time.
never had a problem with it on Windows or OS X...
How the hell can iTunes delete Firefox settings, what a load of ********. Seriously it has nothing to do with Firefox. :/Glad I'm not alone here, iTunes frequently resets it's self everytime I update it, it's fantastic software but I can now put it as my most dreaded computer task, updating itunes.
That went fast.
With last generation hardware that will run maybe pong?
And most mac users wont know about this because you get a shiny play safe screen.Urm, look things up before making silly asumptions, Kernel Panics make log files for us to see with much more information than a white error code. http://www.thexlab.com/faqs/kernelpanics.html
Award for the most useless mouse goes to
Apple software on Windows. Apple developers can't do it, and as a result should stop.
Pong lol, please don't exaggerate.
Actually it's included in the manual, and at least it's much more user friendly than a Windows BSOD, beside the point, I've never even had one so I'm not going to discuss this further.
How is it a useless mouse? It has 360degree scrolling and 4 buttons, better than most OEM bog standard mouses that come with PC's?
Well obviously they can do it. You've totally ignored what I said. I'll say it again incase you missed it...
Never had a problem with iTunes on Windows nor OS X ...How the hell can iTunes delete Firefox settings, what a load of ********. Seriously it has nothing to do with Firefox. :/
I used iTunes on Windows for about 4 years and never had a problem.
That went fast.
A Vista machine.
Ah, that's the exact same thing I said about Vista when I had my Acer laptop.
Get out. Come back when you know what you're talking about. An idiot can use Google. certainly not Mac. I disliked my Mac mouse at first, but I can access my dashboard, and spotlight right from my mouse.
Tell that to Microsoft. Word 2008 is terrible. Not that you'd know.
I'm not crazy, ask my toaster.
