AMD Athlon processor would be a better choice for gaming but Intel would be good for all-rounding. Which would you do more?
(If you go AMD, make sure your mobo supports it)
2 GB RAM will be enough, but of course you can have more, anything over 3 GB (?) will not be recognized in Windows XP, though.
Go for nVidia GeForce for your graphics card, I don't know what model you should go for but I'm told that 8800 GT(S/X) is good, but expensive.
As for HDD's, get two 500GB's or get a 1 TB drive, up to you, just make sure they're 7,200 RPM drives.

    eBuyer links to those:
    GeForce 8800 GTS: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/138730
AMD Processors (I don't know about AMD's, so you'd have to pick one yourself.): http://www.ebuyer.com/store/Componen...Processors-AMD
Intel Processor: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/131950 - I had this one, it's pretty awesome.
RAM: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/154644 - MAKE SURE YOUR MOBO WILL SUPPORT THIS TYPE!
HDD: http://www.ebuyer.com/product/139739 - This seems like quite a good deal on 750 GB.

You didn't say if you want a mobo or not so I can't say what PSU you should have, someone else is going to know bit I've not got a clue.
i've been here for over 8 years and i don't know why

Do you need a monitor, keyboard, mnouase, speakers, printer etc. included in the price? If not you will get quite a nice computer.
