Bose aren't actually that good, they just are well known and you're thoughts of them being such a great audio brand make you think they are better than you are, as you want to think they are great.

They are overpriced as well - you're better off buying Sennheiser headphones and plain old Logitech speakers

The laptop is my business Toshiba Equium A100-147 and the desktop is my brand new Dell Inspiron 430.

    Laptop
    Toshiba Equium A100-147
    1GB RAM
    Windows XP Professional
    Intel CoreDuo 1.6GHz
    60GB HDD

    Desktop
    Dell Inspiron 530
    3GB RAM
    Intel Core2Quad 2.4GHz
    Windows Vista Home Premium

On my desk you can also see my Logitech X-540 surround sound speakers and my TopGear Stig keyring (on top of the Dell 530 tower unit). Under my desk you can see my Media Center PC/Backup server which is an old desktop with 512MB RAM and a AMD Sempron 3000+ processor.
