Haha! I saw that massive volume on amazon. It's giant. I have the same volumes but up to 24 although 25 should be out. I just bought them as they came out.

My box has a big dent in it, I'm sad! Must have happened when I was transporting it from my mums to my dads in the back of a car boot. Although it isn't noticeable, so I'll survive! I'm gonna get 23 - 25 probably tomorrow.

Some of the translations are funny. Still, I think they could have added the whole 'Strawberry' nikcname issue into the anime because it's quite funny and not asif it's a literal translation throughout - just an inside joke.

I don't really like the whole Strawberry thing, I don't think Ichigo's name was intended to mean that. The whole 'Doom Blast' thing is lame as well, as is 'Yoruichi, King of Flash!' or whatever they call her. Manga translations never really satisfy me though, especially Shonen Jump/Viz Media's translations. I think Tokyopop do quite a good job though, as do Yen Press. I especially like Yen Press because they translate all of the sound effects as well, and put the actual translation on the same page, and under where the sound effect is in Japanese. Unlike Viz, they just seem to get rid of the sound effects altogether, or add a huge sound effect glossary at the back. Who wants to keep turning to the back every page to look at each specific sound effect? Sound effects are actually a big part of manga, although they aren't necessarily needed, because it's easy to imagine whats going on... but I like having them there.

I have and read the whole of the CardCaptor Sakura manga books
I also have watched the whole anime series like 7 times.

Incase you can't tell, I like it, either that or I'm really sad.

viz censor everything aswell o well i'll still buy them lol. picked out what im wanting to buy just hoping prices fall in the new year.

also. bloody credit crunch those one piece models i was buying. before due to the exchange rate they were around £9 not there gonna be £15 and 3 come out next month ;-;

Viz censor stuff? Like what? :S Manga is actually cut? Holy **** what is the world coming to. You wouldn't think it if you read Welcome to the NHK. Although Tokyopop released that, and it has a clear 18+ on the back. Actually it's quite small. I'm surprised they even bother putting those age ratings on there and censoring stuff.

forgot about the nhk dvds. gonna go get them now lol. mayb manga aswel.. if i can find vol 1 >_>
