    Default Acer Problem

Ive just completly rebooted my acer computer and when it loads up it downloads things like, acer security ect..
but its got stuck on 8/8. Its been like that for atleast an hour so i tried restarting and its the same. I really dont want to reboot the whole pc again as it takes ages.

Does anyone know what i can do ?
    Thanks.

Rebooting your PC takes ages? Are you sure you don't mean reformat? Just let the acer thing run over-night.

That's strange, the best thing to do is reformat and that takes no longer than 1 hour.

Remember to delete your partitions in case there's an error on it.

    Go to startup files

C:\Users\%UserProfile%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\W indows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup and remove it if its in there or run msconfig then go to startup tab and uncheck the file and apply changes.
