Default I have a crush on one of my friends

Well yeah, recently I came out to my parents as gay (they fine with it) and now that I am kinda coming to terms with it I'm starting to get feelings for one of my mates, someone who I have known for bout 3 years and now I suddenly really like him. Its hard to explain, I dont really understand it myself, but in the past few weeks of talking to him I think I really want him.

Problem is, I dont think he is gay, and I have no way of finding out, and even if he is I am not sure I should make a move. I am not sure whether I really do fancy him, I never felt like this before its so confusing, maybe its just a phase, I dunno.

Has anyone else been in this situation? Can anyone give me advice? I'm so confused

How old are you? It's unlikely your friend is gay thus not interested but you have no real way of finding out, you never know. You clearly do fancy him or you wouldn't be posting about him , that's pretty normal. Even if he is gay he might use the "I value our friendship too much" crap. Well not much help but good luck anyway.

There really isn't any way of finding out; unless you ask directly. Although I wouldn't suggest you mention that you fancy them, because depending on how strong your friendship is, it may well ruin it, also I don't suggest making a move unless you know he is gay, because if you just come on to him, once again, it can ruin the friendship, it's very risky dating friends, straight or gay.

I've been exactly the same situation, having a major crush on a friend of mine when I first decided I was gay. The problem was he was one of the least gay people you could meet. My advice would be, difficult as it is, to put your feelings to one side and focus on your friendship. A crush will pass in time, but a friendship can be formed into something just as good as a relationship with someone. Don't risk losing your friendship and go with the flow, who knows? Anything could happen .

I ****** one of my friends, and it made us so much closer!!
I'm at a point in my life where I don't care if you like me or you don't. If you like me, cool. If you don't, meh.

One thing I hate gay people. They question the straight and think they have the power to turn them gay.
