It's cos it's not a new season it's a new volume and all of a sudden Season 3 (or is it 4??) has 2 volumes. It's so confusing, I don't understand how they order it all :S

I see it as
Season 1
Season 2
Season 3
Season 4
- Volume 1 of Season 4
- Volume 2 of Season 4

no i think its like each eppisode is chapter 1,2 and so on and season one is volume 1 season two volume two and so on?

Season 1 had chapters 1 - 23 of Volume One

Season 2 had chapters 1 - 12 of Volume Two

Season 3 had chapters 1 - 13 of Volume Three and 1 - 12 of Volume Four.

Seasons and Volumes are not the same thing.

eh what no.
There was 23 episodes in season 1.
There was only 11 episodes in season 2.
There was 13 episodes in Season 3 volume 1.

Season 2 - 11 episodes - "Generations" Volume One
Season 3 - 13 episodes - "Villains" Volume One

So we're waiting for Volume Two of Season Three.

It's back in the US on 2nd Feb, so it should be back mid-feb, unless BBC are cruel ;D
