It's part of growing up really. Although you shouldn't really care about what people think of you

First off, I'd say try to pinpoint some reasons that might be causing your self consciousness.. For example, I went through a period when I was pretty self conscious back in middle school and the beginning of high school. It was mainly because I didn't think I was that pretty, as well as I started to care more about weight (I'd always been the skinny kid, but i had a growth spurt and gained a little bit of weight, and then my best friend went anorexic for a while and all of a sudden she was the skinny one of us two, which made me feel pretty fat and self conscious). I made a bunch of changes to my appearance over the summer which did wonders for my confidence.. I quit wearing glasses and started using contacts daily, I cut my long hair into a shoulder length layered look that I really liked, and also saved up and bought a pretty much brand new wardrobe that I liked a lot more (before that my mom tended to add to my closet, and i usually hated the stuff she gave me but she always guilted me into wearing it all). I also went to a pretty intense summer dance camp where I ended up losing 5ish pounds as well as toning/slimming up a tiny bit, and people commented on it and that did wonders for my confidence. So yeah.. maybe if you made some small changes to your appearance/ bought new clothes etc., it might help a ton with your confidence? And since you're a guy, maybe working out would help you with confidence too? I know all my advice is for pretty superficial changes, but it really does wonders for your selfesteem/confidence which helps a ton with decreasing your self consciousness. Also, I dont know if you'd want to do this, but I perform on stage a lot for dance as well as I did a few theater productions in high school. Its terrifying for some people to go on stage, but if you can conquer your fear, the rush you get from a good performance helps with confidence, especially if you do well and people compliment you a ton and stuff Other than that, I would just say try to stop caring as much about what people think.. It's tough to do, and like Captain said it's a part of growing up, but if you stop analyzing things or don't imagine people analyzing you, you won't worry as much.. In the end it comes down to being comfortable with who you are, and the more comfortable and secure you are with yourself the better you'll feel
    Ex-mod.

I've pretty much quit Habbo & Habbox, but I still stop by every once in a while. If you knew me, send me a message saying hi, and I promise I'll get back to you! Miss all you wonderful people who saved me from boredom all those years.
