It can't be that shallow considering the size of the rescue boats, they'd need quite a lot more water.Been watching Sky News since 9:15pm.
Everyone coming ashore with their life jackets still on.
They say the river is only 3-4ft deep at that point, so the plane will probably be stood up.
Sailed down that river when we went there a few years ago.. pretty neat to see it again.
Very nice work by the pilot there, glad everything is OK.
Most passengers managed to step straight onto a wing or boat, accorded to Mayer Bloomberg, press converance says very few got wet at all - apparently the pilot had time to walk the wreckage twice to check everyone was off.
