The title official magazine means nothing by the way - just means they can use the name in their name. I mean, I'd absolutely love to have a Crackdown 2 but Microsoft cut off production for anything from the Crackdown producer as they, and the producer wanted to go "onto bigger and better things".

No, that was never said, after the release of Crackdown Real Time Worlds went into development of a "Cops and Robbers" Themed MMO called "APB" (All Points Bulletin).

They never said Crackdown 2 wasn't going to happen and are still under Microsofts ownership.
