    Default Partitioning help

Basically I used a partition which was a recovery partition (10gb) to install windows 7 and dual boot, but I didn't realize how much the decompressed OS would be so now need to make it bigger. I have shrunk the other partition so have 10GB free space now but it wont let me extend the Windows 7 partition. Any ideas why and how I can do it?

With the disk management tool you can't extend active or boot partitions.
