Have you tried clicking on "use default settings"?
Because that would skip that stage I thinks.
I think that will fill in most stuff, try that then take a screenie of what you get. *seeing how i un-installed SAM lol*

Right now try "local server", it won't come up with those fields I think.

Just about to say that, try using firebird

I have tried all the options with the mysql one. And no to above and above, i was having problems with firebird as it would not let me complete the download process.

Hm, i remember the first time i downloaded it MYSQL wouldnt work for me during installation so i used fyrebird, now mysql works and fyrebird dont. Isnt there 3 databases you can use?

By using the Sam 2 downlaod from earlier in the thread;

Firebird > Fails to find some 'Intsv' file or other
Mysql > Wnats details for some server
ProtegeSQL > Not tried
MS SQL > Not tried.
