    Default Virgin Media can now give out 50mb.

    If it's available, you can get it now, they've just got the power to change it on your account, I get mine setup on Friday, I will post speed tests as soon as I get it.

    I got the same, but my home is happy with 20mb for now. :]

    You'd be able to max the connection out with a usenet account. And maybe rapidshare. God.. just above 5MB/s.

    I disagree, NTL/Virgin would traffic shape you that much that if you saw 25meg you would be luckly. it will cost upwards of £45 for a product that might not even run at the max

    Giganews don't let you connect above 5MB/s over the 10/20 permitted connections

    Its not made for a single connection... its made for having say 5 downloads going @ 10mbit each.

    I will easily see 50meg I reckon. I wont get shaped at any point until the roll out is complete, which knowing there rollout time frame wont be for a long time
