I've already jailbroken mine but this looks a lot more user friendly than the manual way I did it haha.

I also like how you've added vista steps for libusb, it nuked my usb ports because I didn't know it's initially incompatible with vista/7

Yeah, I nuked my USB ports also the first time that I installed it, quickly fixed that though.

I figured I might as well add Vista steps, so that other people don't screw up their USB ports (without reading) then blame me ;P

Overview - Pretty easy to use, no real errors just my computer has issues with libusb, couldnt have been easier to use

Allows you to communicate with your iPod that is in DFU/***/Recovery mode(s).

If you don't know what jailbreaking is, I suggest you use Google, I don't have the time to explain it to you.

I seem to have a problem with step 4. it prepares the ipod for restore then gives me an error

That's your iTunes, what error do you get?

I get something called error 1604

Try a different USB port, make sure the device is in DFU mode. If that doesn't work, restart your computer and try it.
