might as well be -666°C considering we're already throwing science out the window with the concept of hell alone. Let's just forget that the minimum temp possible is -273°C or 0K.

Its suppose to have 9 levels and depending on the amount/severity of your sins you will go to one of them.

Level 0 is Purgatory so you have a chance of going to heaven but you have to wait while the sin is painfully removed from you.

Im not sure but I see it as you get a choice:
-Spend eternity in hell as a deamon/demi-demon etc.
-Work your way up the levels by working and painful repent of your sins for centuries.

If you choose to spend eternity in hell then your position will depend on the level of hell you enter in. You can also go down levels and be promoted upon doing your job well.

Level 1 demons will most likely be employed to retrieve people from limbo and bring them to the level of hell they deserve.

Level 9 demons will be close to the devil and oversee the running of hell for eternity. That is untill the devil demotes them or allows them to be re-incarnated on earth to promote sin and become powerful evil firgures e.g. Hitler.
