    Default Window Color and Appearance

    Hey!

I recently had to re-install Windows and as i have been adding all my programmes back on and what not i no longer have the option to change my boxes/browsers colours to one of my choice.

I rather hate the dull colour i am stuck with and is rather annoying.

Also the windows media player has changed colours aswell.

    Can anybody help?

    Thanks, Yoshi

You need to install your graphics drivers and then select Windows Aero in themes

I don't know what driver it is for this, as their is none identified by 'Graphics'.

Also when i clicked to play a game it says that Hardware acceleation is disables or not supported. Do you know what that means.

Yup, you need to install graphics drivers, you'll need to download a program (which someone else could recommend one, you could try GPU-Z or Everest Home) that will tell you what graphics you have and need to download for.

I'd say that you're missing the 'Intel Graphics Acceleration' Driver, without it most users with Intel Chipsets or Graphic Cards will find themselves without many Graphic or Resolution options.

Install both of these Intel tools, and they should have you running:

    Oh, the links?
Unzip them anywhere, and run the setup.exe for each one.

If one of them doesn't finish or requires a certain file, it's usually because it's not required on the system.
One of them should finish, and the screen will go black for a few seconds to install the driver, then make sure to restart, then it should be sorted.

I was about to say... How do you know its Intel, for all you know it could be ATi, Nvidia or something else...

What he needs to do is download and run GPU-Z or Everest Home to find out what his graphics card is.
