i don't care bout it being all black cast but what are they doing that for and why are they telling newspapers whatever their plans to do it and making a deal of it :S

To increase ratings . It'll cause people who are curious to watch it and gain them free promotion.

Of course this being Britain everyone will complain anyway even though they didn't watch the show lol.

I didn't watch the episode myself as I don't like soaps.

Judging from the first post, it would seem that it's the typical 'lets spend 30 mins sat around a table talking' scene. I don't know, it can be seen differently from the actors point of view though.
