My Ipod has frozen- Help!

I was syncing songs from itunes when my ipod froze..
Does anyone know any reason why & how to unfreeze it?
Btw I know there's some way to reset ipods but I've lost the manual and can't remember how to.

I had this 3 mins ago!
Anyway,
Slide the Hold button and back agian, then hold the centre button AND the menu button until the apple logo appears.
