And exactly what did the other guys post have to do with the "ins and outs" Telling us that ireland gave england leprechauns and the colour green? Well kiss my Northern Irish ass, I didnt know those points came up in our politics scheme.

And of course what I said had relevance to the topic, it was truthful and helped to rationalise the points previously made on what they were about and why I made them, you seem a bit slow so maybe you should just go away as you dont seem to grasp what is actually going on here.

The truth Wales, Scotland & Northern Ireland should never have been given their own parliaments. When Labour came to power in 1997 it really spelt the death of the United Kingdom, or the decline in my view. If the Conservatives come to power in 2010 and the SNP hold a referendum on Scottish Independance, sad to say it but the chances are that they might win.

I'm an imperialist and I believe the British Empire did a lot of good for the world and as we all worked together, we beat the Kaiser's German Empire and we beat Hitler's Third Reich. When your united, you are strong.

I don't believe Northern Ireland should leave the United Kingdom, mainly because many think it would get better to be a 'United Ireland', however it wouldn't. Ireland is not a major world player and isn't part of organisations like NATO. Ireland also is majorly supported by the European Union and without the EU funding, Ireland would not have had the boom/investment it had in the last 10 years an of course, now the bubble has burst they will need to lean evermore on the EU which is not a good thing.

It shows the utter arrogance the Irish have already had to deal with, and if Ireland becomes one it just means more Irish people will have to grapple with the arrogance of the EU.

The No vote in Ireland has not solved the problems which the Lisbon Treaty is designed to solve... The European Commission believes the remaining ratifications should continue to take their course... The treaty is not dead. I believe the treaty is alive.

If you think the United Kingdom is bad/you shouldn't be a part of it, think what it would be like to be under people like that who won't take NO for an answer.

Valid points fort and nice facts and opinions to back them up but the fact of the matter is this: No English citizen really doesnt have a place to debate in this thread simply because you need to be a resident of Northern Ireland to know what you want and to know the effects Ireland's struggle to get our land has had on people you know and places you visit in our beautiful country.

With all due respect; you have had no struggle. The only struggle has been the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales & Northern Ireland itself) having to right off murderous, evil, vile terrorists from the Republic of Ireland who want a United Ireland, even though the people of Northern Ireland voted overwhelmingly to stay in the United Kingdom.

If you read my post more carefully you would notice I did not say we had a struggle, I was refering to Irelands struggle to get us to form a United Ireland and the toil of this is still taking its effect today, for instance the 3 poor men shot and killed by the PIRA.

I will always be British and Northern Ireland will always be British, No Surrender!
